The lead-up to the Startup Festival
The Spring Meetup
This event marked the first of five exciting lead-up events celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Startup Festival. Serving as the official launch of the festival, it set the tone for the series of gatherings that will build momentum leading up to the main celebration.

Empowered to Succeed
The second event, Empowered to Succeed – Women Entrepreneurs Leading the Charge, brought together trailblazing women founders and leaders to share their journeys, insights, and strategies for success. It was an inspiring morning that celebrated resilience, leadership, and the power of community, continuing the momentum toward the main festival.
The Resilient Founder
The third event focused on one of the most vital aspects of entrepreneurship: mental health. This offered founders a chance to pause, reflect, and recharge through meaningful discussions, creative expression, and community connection. The programme featured an insightful opening panel, guided stretching and meditation, and a hands-on painting session.

Startup Ecosystem
The fourth event, Startup Ecosystem: Government Collaboration for Growth, focused on strengthening ties between startups and government. Held at the Malta International Contemporary Arts Space, it featured lightning talks from public entities, a venue tour, and valuable networking. A key highlight was the panel discussion, “From Red Tape to Results: How Startups and Government Can Collaborate Better.”

We concluded the events leading up to the Start-Up Festival with a distinguished guest - Shark Tank star and renowned investor, Daymond John.
