The Startup Festival began by celebrating Malta’s growing start-up scene and the 20th anniversary of KBIC. It quickly evolved, with the second edition introducing youth engagement and investor matchmaking. In the years that followed, it continued to grow, drawing top entrepreneurial talent and hundreds of start-ups from sectors like FinTech, Gaming, VR/AR, BioTech, and the Blue Economy.

Now in its fifth year, we’re introducing Startup Festival Week 2025, running from 20th to 24th October, to mark this milestone. This extended format reflects the festival’s growth and the increasing demand for more in-depth engagement, networking, and opportunities.

The festival will feature keynote talks, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and an exhibition space. Start-ups and scale-ups will also benefit from matchmaking sessions with local and international investors.
